Energized For Exploits! Pearl Camp Re-fires IPCs
The Mid-year Pearl Camp trannings, of the Tahitian Noni International Inc. just ended in the last 10 days. My esteemed leader and Vice President, Marketing Communications of the TNI, Shon Withney, has forwarded this report to us and I thought it fit to share with all our Independent Product Consultants (IPCs) and our guest and prospects:

Ia’Orana!

What an incredible week! The second annual Pearl Camp was just as fantastic as the first. And when you consider the fact that we also marked the 10th birthday of Tahitian Noni International, it may have even been a little better…

Below you’ll find a day-by-day recap of the event. If you didn’t qualify to attend this year’s Pearl Camp, make sure you talk to someone who did. And make sure you qualify to attend next year! This camp is one of the highlights of Success Path, and is a goal that every Coral and Jade should set for themselves.

Everyone that attended Pearl Camp, including IPC leaders and the leaders from TNI’s corporate offices, left the camp energized and ready to make the summer of 2006 explode with activity. Here we go!

Each year, Pearl Camp is held at the luxurious Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Grand America is one of Condé Nast’s Top 100 Hotels of the World—this is the Tahitian Noni lifestyle at its best!

Wednesday night’s welcome reception was filled with great food and warm conversation. IPCs took photographs, shared their stories, and enjoyed the company of others while dining on their favorite treats dipped in chocolate fondue. Cheers of enthusiasm regularly erupted as old friends reunited. TNI’s Founders mingled with the crowd and greeted IPCs with handshakes, hugs, and plenty of picture taking.

Kelly Olsen opened the first general session of Pearl Camp this night. He first gave the stage to Kristine Füssel, an IPC from Germany who joined the TNI family in 2003 and became a Pearl Camp qualifier after only one year. Using the inspiration of Kristine’s story, Kelly referenced memories from his own story of joining Tahitian Noni International. He then challenged each IPC to ask someone they don’t know about their story, and stressed the importance of never taking their hearts out of their stories—or their businesses. The remainder of Kelly’s re marks revolved around the book Good to Great, which highlights seven important steps to becoming a great business leader.

Today IPCs were introduced to the new 2-ounce TAHITIAN NONI® Juice Mini, which was available for a limited time during Pearl Camp. They also received a recap of the tremendous press coverage TNI has received nationally and globally over the past six months: 116 full-feature articles and product reviews, 15 press releases with more than 250 pickups, and over 800 total listings. TNI's current listings are 33% higher than last year at this time!

IPCs then participated in one of the most important parts of Pearl Camp, the humanitarian project. They helped build over 5,000 disaster cleaning kits to send to families who have suffered from disasters, such as the typhoon in Southeast Asia and the hurricanes in Louisiana. You’ll hear more about the project later this week.

Friday, June 30

TNI saved the best general session for the last—the third and final session included an in-depth explanation of the new campaign strategy and how it helps IPCs to build their businesses.

  • - Tahitian Noni Rewards program
    - Product certifications
    - GiftTNI
    - Power Products

Kelly Olsen also introduced the highly anticipated fourth bonus pool, which provides IPCs with the opportunity to qualify for stock in the company.

The day ended with a formal recognition dinner. They were dressed in their finest attire, and dinner was spectacular. Herschel Gibbs, Triple Diamond Black Pearl from Arizona, gave the keynote address about character and leadership. Each qualifying IPC received a Pearl Camp pin and a plaque recognizing their achievement. The rest of the evening was filled with music, dancing, and FUN!

Saturday, July 1

Huge signs draped TNI’s World Headquarters and welcomed IPCs to the Tahitian Noni gardens on Saturday evening. IPCs spent the day touring the corporate office and manufacturing plant. They capped it off with a dinner in the gardens, complete with waterfall, stream, and thousands of gorgeous flowers. Prize giveaways included DVD players, a flat screen TV, a laptop, and lots of cash.

The night ended with a huge birthday celebration, which included cake and singing. After the Founders gave their heartfelt thanks for 10 amazing years, they invited attending members of the President’s Team to speak. These incredible IPC leaders have been here since the beginning, and they shared some wonderful memories of watching this company grow. The evening ended with a brilliant fireworks display and birthday cake for all.
